Karl Rutter has more than 30 years of experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds, in both domestic and international markets. Institutions in the United States value his varied experience within the higher education space. His understanding of global culture appeals to international institutions (i.e., institutions outside of the United States) looking to develop study abroad programs in America.

Karl Rutter Consulting LLC is a boutique consulting agency that provides academic institutions with creative solutions for recruitment, strategic management, and program and business development in the domestic and international markets. I pay special attention to keeping quality student experience and sound business practice at the forefront of every engagement.
We work with initiatives extending to both incoming international students and outgoing domestic students, and in an effort to ensure the best possible outcomes for students, we stay on after consulting through implementation.
My approach is to work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs in developing custom solutions on strategic and tactical levels. My focus is on the practical applications of sound business theory.
